That's funny title. Well there is a good meaning behind it. I went to church today and I realized something. A lot of the teens in my class are silent. Now what do I mean by silent? I mean whenever the teacher asked a question hardly anybody answered! Now, don't get me wrong! There were a few answers by some people but not as many as I hoped for. Maybe two or three at best. And the class had twenty-four people in it! It really surprised me at first. But, then I realized. You know I used to be in their same shoes also. I used to hesitate when they asked if someone will pray, read the Bible, or answer the question. But why? My excuse was because I didn't want to get made fun of. Then I thought, "Why would I be made fun of?" My excuses were pretty lame also.
I also wondered if that is how they were when it came to ministering. Were they just a hesitant? Or what? How are you when it comes to ministering? Or in Sunday school class? Do you hesitate when it comes to praying out loud or reading the Bible? Now please don't misunderstand me. I am NOT saying that every teen is like that. I have met MANY teens who are the complete opposite. But, there are teens who do that. I have seen them with my own eyes! And it makes me feel so sad to see Christians doing that. So if you are ever in that situation what will you do? Step forward, or hesitate?
